it is I'm talking about. One question will undoubtedly lead to another, then another, then another, and I dont have everything to show just yet. I can tell you what that page will include though.. And feel free to add to this list if you wish.. Pictures of each cylinder on a head which will be done with varying amounts of performance work done to it. Specifically, pictures of the seats themselves, as well as the portwork/bowlwork. Pictures of the head-machine and the tooling used. CFM flowcharts. Price. Undoubtedly, in providing this information with the level of documentation we are proposing, our claims will be justified, perhaps even copied, LOL. But I think with this information it will be clear what is involved and what is to be expected for those interested in purchasing a head package from Z1 - information that anyone comtemplating a high-performance VG buildup will want to have - customers wont always take your word for it so we will provide it and know we were the first to do so. Any competitor that wants to follow suit can backtrack our efforts, learn something from it, and perhaps do the same themselves but this isn't the only R&D we have going on and anyone following suit will always be steps behind. :) I'm not intentionally dragging anything out here - we have been discussing the development of these packages for some time now and we are at the verge of putting this product out to customers. We have been testing various portwork, cams, and valvejobs and have seen notable benefits from our R&D efforts. It will take a little bit of time to compile all of this data and produce a comprehensive page on our site that defines the differences with both pictures and flowbench data. The request Kyle made about showing him pictures was because of a post about a week or so ago where Russell chimed in on a post where a member was asking about differing valveseat cut procedures.. Russ mentioned that we use a 14-angle valveseat cut on our performance heads and that led to a barrage of accusational responses from some of our competitors, namely Kyle himself. We aren't out to rub pie in anyone's face and our goals are to provide hard, factual evidence not only of the existence of such a process, but also of the benefits. We're going to provide the data I defined above so we dont have to waste time and entertain unfounded arguments - the proof will be found in the pudding. :) Now I look forward to putting together the information just that much more. =) Once it is done I will be sure to chime in here as well as the other forums to link anyone interested to our site, 300zx.com
